FAQs

Frequently Asked Moving Questions

Do you have storage?

Yes, we do! We have expanded our space to provide on-site storage in a secure, temperature and humidity-controlled environment.

Do I need to remove items from drawers?

No. It is not necessary to remove all items from drawers. You only need to remove spillable, breakable items or of exceptionable value, such as money, jewelry, credit, and bank cards.

Should I remove items from refrigerators & freezers?

Yes. Refrigerators should be emptied. On occasion, freezers may remain full if they will be going from garage to garage with no steps involved.

Do you move grand pianos?

Yes. In fact, it is one of our specialties. For many years we delivered all the pianos for Turner Music Company in Independence. We have even moved Harry S. Trumans' concert grand at the Truman Presidential Library.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured and registered with the MoDot to operate in all Commercial Zones in the metropolitan area. Not all movers are, so check them out.

How do I check out a mover's reliability?

Contact the Better Business Of Greater Kansas City; they are a fantastic resource for unbiased information. Ask your friends & family if they have any previous experience with movers. Chances are, we have moved one of them. Also, ask for references, we have many customers that would be glad to speak with you.

Do you move plants?

Yes. Unfortunately, we can not be responsible for broken foliage or survival after being moved. House plants are very sensitive to climate changes, and we are not able to control humidity and temperature levels.

Do you take down and set up beds?

Yes. Any items we take apart, we will gladly reassemble. We will also assemble new or existing items as long as all parts are available to us.
